Having a nonprofit purpose is good from a Fair Use perspective, but it isn't as determinative as most people think. Profit-earning works may still be protected by Fair Use, just as non-profit works may not be protected. If the character of your use didn't clearly point one way or the other, your nonprofit purpose may tip the scales to your favor. The judge will still have to be persuaded by the other factors, however.
